The Casinos

Biography

Formed in 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, the Casinos originally comprised Gene Hughes (d. 3 February 2004), Glen Hughes, Pete Bolton, Joe Patterson and Ray White. After gaining popularity locally, they signed with the small Terry Records and covered the Carla Thomas R&B ballad ‘Gee Whiz’, with no success.
