The Terror - 80 minutes - Color. Andre Duvalier (Jack Nicholson) is a lieutenant in the army of Napoleon who becomes lost whilst trying to rejoin his regiment. A beautiful woman (Sandra Knight) appears and shows him where to find fresh water, then mysteriously disappears. Captivated by her beauty his search for her leads him to the menacing castle of Baron Victor Frederick Von Leppe (Boris Karloff) who reluctantly offers him food and shelter for the night. Extra Feature, The Veil - 25 minutes - Black and White - 1958. The Crystal Ball is one of ten programmes produced by the Hal Roach Studios under the series title The Veil. Hosted by Boris Karloff, these were tales of horror and the supernatural.
