A successful character actor, Georgia-born DeForest Kelly appeared on several TV shows before landing his most memorable role as Dr. McCoy on Star Trek (1966). This spiritual classic is a segment of the renowned Life of Saint Paul series which was exhibited in churches throughout the world in the early 1950s.
As Saul and Barnabus arrive in Antioch to share their teachings, they meet a prophet who warns that Jerusalem is to be stricken by the Lord with a prolonged and deadly famine. The disciples inspire the townspeople to donate funds and set off on a treacherous trek to save the doomed city.
