Description by OLDIES.com:
The year is 1775. Adventurous and resourceful Daniel Boone (Bruce Bennett) leads a caravan of settlers through hostile territory in the Cumberland Gap with two enemy factions to worry about: The Indians and the Redcoats. What Boone does not realize is that a treacherous French renegade has poisoned the mind of the powerful Shawnee Chief Black Fish (Lon Chaney). He is led to believe that Boone and his party of settlers are planning to steal Shawnee land and murder the people of the tribe. Despite frequent Indian ambushes, fierce, bloody fighting and scalpings, the pioneers continue their journey west across the wild American frontier. During this period, Lon Chaney made a cottage industry of playing Indians including his starring role as Chingachgook in the TV series "Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans."
