Description by OLDIES.com:
France lays in chaos after the defeat of Napoleon. The Duke of Corlaine and his henchman Count Villiers have taken control of the countryside - imprisoning anyone who questions their authority. Captain Scarlett, a soldier returning from the war, arrives to find his estate has been confiscated by the Count. Determined to regain his land and noble birthright, Scarlett confronts Villiers only to find the beautiful Princess Maria has been taken hostage by the Count. Scarlett is captured while rescuing the Princess and is imprisoned with fellow nobleman Pierre DuCloux. In the dark dungeon before the morning of their execution, Scarlett and Pierre swear an oath to rid France of Corlaine and Villiers forever.
