3 stars out of 5 -- [T]here is a lot of enjoyable hokum and cheerful ridiculousness, especially when Reacher has to spring someone from military prison using his trademark combo of resourcefulness and punching. Popcornily preposterous and watchable.

You are almost willing to forgive the cheesy emotional climax especially when it ends with Cruise's electric smile. This one's for Reacher, Cruise and Child fans alone.
