Gungala - The Black Panther Girl

In this lively jungle opus, an expedition sponsored by a wealthy English family heads deep into the wilds. Their goal? To find a lost heiress whose plane cracked up in the jungle many years before and who's now prancing about half-naked in the jungle bush (pun intended). The heiress, raised in the wild and now fully-grown and drop-dead beautiful, is known by the natives as the black panther girl Gungala (Kitty). At stake once again is Kitty's sacred diamond necklace, which the expedition members, most of whom are creepy thugs, want to skedaddle with. There are a number of other plot twists. No classic, but this film has a good helping of action-packed jungle schlock. English subtitles. Excellent color, 35mm.
