Product Description:
2008 compilation from the British guitar great featuring tracks recorded in the late '60s, shortly after leaving the Yardbirds. Opening this collection of his late-'60s material, the iconic flower-power anthem, 'Hi Ho Silver Lining', while the song reflected the climate of the time, the single's flipside, 'Beck's Bolero', offered a tantalizing glimpse of the future. Recorded with Keith Moon on drums, John Paul Jones on bass and Jimmy Page on second guitar. This is Zeppelin in all but name, and one of the most significant B-sides of all time. The follow-up single 'Tallyman', was backed by 'Rock My Plimsoul' - a song that introduced Rod Stewart as a powerful new voice. This collection goes from strength to strength showcasing Jeff Beck to be one of the best and most influential guitarists of all time. EMI Gold.
