It's the very beginning of the Nashville Sound with Nashville-based musicians making very creditable pop music for a national radio audience, and it's the end of live radio. These were among the last 'live' sweet music radio broadcasts. Fortunately, they were also recorded, and now we can hear what listeners to the ABC/ABN radio network heard in February 24, 1958.
