Karate Bullfighter

Karate master Sonny Chiba plays his own real life teacher, Mas Oyama, in this historical martial arts film. It is the story of Oyama's life from his humble beginning as a penniless hopeful at a karate tournament to his glory days of killing raging bulls with his bare hands for sport. Despite dressing in rags, his fighting prowess inspired big businessman to train him for a professional career. The trauma of taking another man's life in a barroom brawl leads Oyama turn his back on martial arts entirely but later gives in to his natural impulse and plans to return.
