Anyone Home?

Co-directors and co-writers Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen's gritty adolescent drama was adapted from the former's 2007 novel of the same name. A teenage girl befriends a homeless young woman after running away from domestic abuse at home. She finds emotional support and camaraderie in a makeshift family of homeless Los Angeles teens, but the stress of street life eventually takes its toll on her mental health and newfound social bonds.
