I Am Not Giordano Bruno

Film dedicated to the life and work of Soviet Russia cartoonist Boris Efimov. Efimov lived to be 108 years old. He was Soviet dictator Stalin's favorite cartoonist. Stalin decorated him with many awards and medals, but gave an order to kill his brother. In this documentary Boris Efimov tells the story of birth, development, and fall of the Soviet Union.

Seymon Pinkhasov's documentary I AM NOT GIORDANO BRUNO charts the creation and eventual dissolving of the Soviet Union with an animation technique that strongly resembles the style of revered Russian cartoonist Boris Efimov, who was a favorite of Stalin, even though the dictatorial leader ordered the assassination of Efimov's brother.
