Rating: 3/5 -- It's easy to settle in for the oddball charms of this tale of love among the ruins. Full Review

3 stars out of 5 -- The exact midway point between Steven Spielberg and Ed Wood, this a cheerily obvious schlocker that will please B-movie purists.

Rating: B- -- "Extraterrestrial" becomes a comedy of one-lie-after-another. And, a great deal of it is funny/interesting enough to keep you locked into the story, even as you wait and wait and wait for the aliens TO DO SOMETHING. Full Review

Rating: C -- If Extraterrestrial is to explore what might be called Third Wheel Syndrome, Vigalondo needed to bring greater tension to the romantic triangle than what exists. Full Review

Product Description:

A relaxing trip to the woods turns into a nightmare of cosmic proportions when a group of young friends are tormented by malevolent extraterrestrials. As a young girl, April spent much of her childhood at her family's cozy, secluded cabin. Now April (Brittany Allen) is all grown up, and life didn't exactly turn out how he hoped it would. In the aftermath of her parents' divorce, April ventures back to that scenic cottage with a group of her closest friends. But just as those nostalgic memories come rushing back, the group watches in amazement as a massive fireball plummets to the earth nearby. Curious, April's boyfriend (Freddie Stroma) leads the group into the woods for a closer look. What they discover out in the darkness leaves them more terrified than they could have ever imagine; a U.F.O. has crashed, and all evidence suggests that the otherworldly survivors are watching them from the trees. By the time April and her friends learn that the U.S. government struck a deal with the aliens after Roswell it's already too late, because the curious college students have broken the cardinal rule of the secret pack: Never, under any circumstances, engage the visitors because once you do, you become their prey.
