Product Description:
Writer-director Stefan Avalos follows up his indie frightfest THE LAST BROADCAST with another meta inquiry into the symbiotic relationship between filmmaking and reality. Recovering from a mental breakdown, former model Rachel (Paula Ficara) and her boyfriend Kevin (Stephen Wastell) move to Los Angeles to pursue careers in screenwriting. Obsessive about Tinseltown history, the movie-buff couple rent a comfortable bungalow in the hillside community of Edendale, an east Hollywood enclave that was witness to the horrific accident death of a silent-era movie star nearly 80 years ago. But as Kevin's feverish work on a Western screenplay immerses him more and more in the insulated world of his own obsession--a la Jack Nicholson's iconic turn in THE SHINING--Rachel begins suffering from writer's block and nightmarish visions of ghostly possessions that threaten both her sanity and her life.
