Without a doubt B. B. King is one of the most, if not THE most well-known blues musician to date and at 89 years old he is still playing and touring plus owns a string of blues clubs and steakhouses. I wonder if he eats his steak blue? (Sorry). This is, we think, a different way of looking at his early career via the budget albums released by his first label, Modern Records through to the first handful of recordings he made after signing with ABC Records in 1962.
