Two Cool guys - one married, one not; one voyeuristic, one narcissistic - actually seem to believe that the women in their lives matter more to them than they do to each other. Almereyda's ears are even sharper than his eyes - the dialogue, indeed the entire sound track, is dazzling. ALIENS (1993 - 13 mins) Two young boys discuss their favorite movies and the nature of "passive resistance" while playing a video game. AT SUNDANCE (1995 - 71 mins) co-directed with Amy Hobby - A group portrait of filmmakers attending the 1995 Sundance Film Festival.
