Assignment X
The gimmick plays well from a technical standpoint, but the story requires a suspension of disbelief that only genre diehards are likely to give.

Product Description:
An excited fan gets closer to his favorite actress than he ever thought possible, but learns that his Internet peeping may be putting them both in mortal danger in this inventive thriller from director Nacho Vigalondo (TIMECRIMES, EXTRATERRESTRIAL). When Nick (Elijah Wood) wins a dinner date with smoldering starlet Jill Goddard (Sasha Grey), he can't believe his good luck. His initial elation turns to frustration, however, when fickle Jill decides not to honor the contest. Then, in an unlikely turn of events, Jill's manager Chord (Neil Maskell) offers Nick personal access to his unsuspecting client's webcams. Later, by the time Nick realizes he and Jill have both fallen into a deadly trap, it may already be too late for both of them.
