A young girl named Akane (Mayu Matsuoka) struggles with believing in herself until she crosses paths with Hippocrates (Masachika Ichimura), an unusual alchemist, and his apprentice Pipo (Nao Tôyama). Akane learns of the duo's quest to build an alternate world to safeguard humanity from mysterious forces at work. Much to Akane's surprise, Hippocrates and Pipo believe her to be the savior of their new world. Directed by Keiichi Hara and based on the novel by Sachiko Kashiwaba.
