Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 1.5/4 --
It's difficult to ascertain what's harder to take in this laugh-free comedy: the sentimental bits or the expected dashes of witless crudity.

Creative Loafing
Rating: 0.5/4 --
A movie entirely without consequence, about people we don't care much for, a plot of impossible silliness, and situations that seem hauled through the grinder of exhausted mid-tempo farce.

Shadows on the Wall
Distinguished mainly by its overqualified cast and lack of inspiration, "Father Figures" can't decide whether it's a gross-out comedy or an uplifting tale of brotherly love; it embraces the worst of both worlds.

Product Description:
Fraternal twin brothers Kyle (Owen Wilson) and Peter (Ed Helms) are shocked to learn that their mother (Glenn Close) has been lying to them for years about their father being deceased -- the truth is that she doesn't know their dad's identity due to living a wild life during the 1970s. The duo decide to set off on a cross-country road trip, interviewing the possible candidates along the way in the hope of locating their biological father. J.K. Simmons, Ving Rhames, Terry Bradshaw, Katt Williams, and Christopher Walken co-star. Directed by Lawrence Sher.
