It's fitfully entertaining. I will say that Jonathan Pryce is perfect in [this] role. Full Review

Some of the filmmaking is inspired....It's a film that is always striving for something.

It is utterly beautiful, endlessly inventive and borderline unwatchable. There could not be a more poetic union of filmmaker and subject. Full Review

Rating: 2.5/5 -- Quixote's grand visual style is undoubtedly mesmerising, but unfortunately the writing bloats a production already struggling to support the weight of its troubled past, unduly hampering it with swathes of incoherence too bothersome to wade through. Full Review

Rating: 2/5 -- An eternal succession of meaningless dramatic turns, unconnected sequences, and a lack of internal coherence. [Full Review in Spanish] Full Review

Rating: 3.5/5 -- The plot is wacky and meandering, but [Terry] Gilliam infuses it with a gleefully freewheeling tone, taking flights of fancy at every turn. Full Review

This action comedy co-written by Terry Gilliam and Tony Grisoni tells the story of jaded film director Toby (Adam Driver) who confuses present day with the past after finding a bootleg copy of a film he made about Don Quixote, as a student. In this film, he recruited a Spanish cobbler (Jonathan Pryce) to play the main role, though this same man now believes Toby is his loyal sidekick Sancho Panza adding to the confusion between film, film characters and real life. Directed by Terry Gilliam.
