How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World offers the audience adventure and romance while finishing the story off in a sentimental and touching way.

[W]e’re taken on a tour of a lost kingdom that’s like a dry-land tropical reef, illuminated by the almost heavenly glow of its flora and fauna. THE HIDDEN WORLD doesn’t really stop giving you lovely things to gawk at.

4 stars out of 5 -- [I]t’s when the film is at its simplest that it proves most irresistible, as shown by a glorious courtship sequence between Toothless and Light Fury that gives a virtual, virtually silent masterclass in creature-based cartooning.

The same winning blend of endearment and excitement is once again to the fore in this quality third installment in the animated series based on the books by Cressida Cowell.

It's got a couple of flaws, but I left the theater thinking about who wouldn't like the movie.

The Hidden World has all of the same strengths and weaknesses as its two predecessors, but the good definitely outweighs the bad, making it an emotionally satisfying end to the trilogy.

Overall, this feels like a sequel made for the sake of it with little by way of inspiration. It provides a neat conclusion to the larger story but is liable to leave fans of the original feeling short-changed.

Product Description:
In the final installment of Dreamworks' trilogy, the film directed Dean DeBlois sees the inhabitants of Berk as now proficient dragon riders and fighters, having lived with their dragons for six years. Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) is now the village chief with power and prestige, though he still looks to Astrid (America Ferrera) and his friends for advice. However, when dragon trafficker Grimmel (F. Murray Abraham) targets the citizens of Berk, he forces them to make heartfelt decisions they never thought they would as they join forces to beat this newfound foe.
