Entertainment Reviews:
Product Description:
This illuminating documentary sheds some light on the life of Sabina Spielrein--a former patient of Carl Jung. After falling for Jung and entering into a lengthy written correspondence with the famed psychiatrist, Spielrein was introduced to Sigmund Freud, whom she also wrote to at length. She eventually became a psychiatrist herself and greatly aided both Jung and Freud in their discoveries. It wasn't until 1977 that Spielrein's letters and diaries were discovered. These form the basis for this film, which uses re-creations and readings to help form a better picture of the incredible world Spielrein inhabited.
