Sing Sing Nights

Sirens ring out and the police find Floyd Cooper - shot three times. Harold Trude, walks into the police station, drops a gun on the desk and tells them he just committed the murder. But this is not an open and shut case. Robert McCaigh, who calmly smokes a cigarette while handcuffed to a confused officer, also confesses to the shooting. Finally, Sergei Krenwicz confesses to the same crime. None of the men will defend themselves and are convicted and sentenced to death. A temporary stay of execution is granted for two of the men as world-famous criminologist, Professor Varney, determines the real killer.
