Entertainment Reviews:
A tiny, uncut gem of a movie....On one level, then, WE THE ANIMALS is a classic coming-of age tale; on another, it’s a near perfect depiction of the emotional damage that can result from economic insecurity.
New York Times
This movie is so gorgeous, it even makes drone footage look ethereal rather than pedestrian.

El antepenúltimo mohicano
[A] film that feels like something conjured out of memory and magic, a poetic, often ecstatic re-creation of childhood that captures its ungovernable pleasures as vividly as its most threatening terrors.
Washington Post
Rating: 3/5 --

Guardian
Without a trace of luridness, We the Animals manages to be heartbreaking and harrowing. What saves it from being depressing is the exhilaration of Zagar's direction, and the unbridled energy and unstudied authenticity of the cast.

3 stars out of 4 -- [D]irector Jeremiah Zagar uses a mixture of documentary reality and high-flung poetry in his approach, giving us a visceral sense of being there, in that house with those people.

Product Description:
In this drama three brothers grow up in a financially insecure working-class household, as captive witnesses to their Puerto Rican father and white mother's tumultuous relationship.
