After a rabies-like virus breaks out that turns people into rage-fueled zombies, Morgan (Matt Smith) not only survives a bite, but also finds his encounter has given him the ability to communicate with the infected. He, scientist Dr. Gina Rose (Natalie Dormer) and a small group of human survivors are attempting to find the first patient in order to develop a cure.
