Product Description:
In mid-nineteenth-century England, archaeologist Mary Anning (Kate Winslet) trawls the seaside in search of fossils, hoping to solidify her status in the scientific community. On one of her research expeditions, she crosses paths with Charlotte Murchison (Saoirse Ronan), an ailing young woman ordered by her physician to rest by the sea. The two women then engage in an intense yet intimate relationship, which shifts the course of their respective futures. Written and directed by Francis Lee.
