Tu Dors Nicole adds up to something pleasurably off-beat, a funny take on the coming-of-age film. Its quirks surprisingly entertain rather than grate or annoy, largely because of Lafleur's assured direction and Mishara's gorgeous cinematography.

3.5 stars out of 4 -- Stéphane Lafleur’s great TU DORS NICOLE is a remarkable tonal balancing act in such a way that it’s difficult to figure out how he pulls it off. It is both light as a feather and emotionally resonant.
