Georgia-based Brian Free has been at the forefront of southern Gospel music since 1982, during which time he has been voted Favorite Tenor by fans a record eight times, while winning numerous other awards and honors. His band Assurance, which includes Brian's son Ricky on drums, joins him in consistently making music that touches and inspires all those who hear it, offering praise to the Lord in the exuberant, joyful Gospel tradition. For this live concert recording, the group has traveled from their native South to perform before an appreciative audience at the Christ Tabernacle Church in Queens, New York. The highlights of the concert include an updated version of James Cleveland's classic, "Long As I Got King Jesus," as well as a new ballad, "Healed."
