AT LAST, REFLECTIONS BY THE PLATTERS ! I've been searching and waiting for over 20 years for these two albums to be released on CD. "Reflections" and "Life Is A Bowl Of Cherries" are the BEST two albums combined on one CD by the Platters. I have an original Mercury LP for "Reflections" which includes all of the Platters' recordings of "water" songs such as EBB TIDE, RED SAILS IN THE SUNSET, SLOW BOAT TO CHINA, etc. Until now, only Bear Family Records included these songs on a CD Set called FOUR PLATTERS AND ONE LOVELY DISH which includes Sonny Turner (Tony Williams' replacement when he left the Platters for a solo career). This box-set has all of the members of the Platters singing lead on different songs as well as their major hits. It's expensive, but worth it. Finally, we have REFLECTIONS on CD! 5-8-12. R.C. JONES
