BELLE DE JOUR star Catherine Deneuve plays an avant-garde writer named Francoise whose encounter with an elderly millionaire takes an unexpected turn. The old man begins to meddle in her life, and when his manipulations draw in an unsuspecting married man, Francoise fights back with an arsenal of supernatural powers. Soon nothing is as it seems as the millionaire's mansion is overrun with ghostly apparitions and visions of the past. Featuring the elder Bunuel's regular actor Fernando Rey, this rare Deneuve film is now available for the first time on DVD and video.
