Description by OLDIES.com:
Heiress Cora Jordan (Myrna Loy) vows to make her own way in the world and, after a day of job-hunting, couldn't be more surprised. Why? One: no one hires her. Two: she meets Bill Overton (Robert Taylor), a flat-broke gambler, and teams with him to parlay a nickel into hundreds of dollars, win a car in a raffle, spend a whirlwind neon night on the town and woozily awaken together next morning in the Regent Plaza with only $11. Then a bellhop comes to the door with a third surprise: "Telegram for Mrs. Overton."
