Aims to recapture the original's seamless pastiche (it's an imitation of an imitation) and fails. But it has an easily digestible, junky sense of humor about it. Full Review

Part of the problem is that King's short stories simply work better in print. Full Review

Rating: 2/5 -- The episodes are marginally interesting, but each is a little too long. And each could be fully explained in a one-sentence synopsis.

Tied together with some humdrum animated sequences, three vignettes on offer obviously were produced on the absolute cheap, and are deficient in imagination and scare quotient. Full Review

Rating: 0/4 -- One of the many repulsive things about the film is the simple-minded moralizing that blights all three tales. Full Review

Rating: 3/4 -- A satisfying follow-up that retains the same macabre yet spirited tone. Full Review

Rating: 1/4 -- Whereas Romero's approach to this material is distinctly tongue-in-cheek, Gornick makes the mistake of giving the stories a straightforward treatment that merely heightens their inherent weakness. Full Review

Product Description:

This sequel to the popular EC Comics parody once again brings an anthology of Stephen King's tales to the screen. In "Old Chief Wood'nhead," a dime store Indian comes to life and exacts bloody retribution on those who murdered its owner; "The Raft" details four teenagers descent into terror as they are stranded in the middle of a lake patrolled by a carnivorous gelatin monster; "The Hitchhiker" tells the tale of a woman's fateful date with destiny after she runs down a nightime hitcher. As in the first film, all three tales are interconnected by "the Creep," an undead host with a penchant for maniacal cackling.
