A faithful retelling of the classic graphic novel, albeit with some odd decisions regarding Batman and Batgirl's relationship. Full Review

Rating: C+ -- Batman: The Killing Joke is borderline unsettling - and not in a good way. Full Review

Rating: 2/5 -- It just turns the story into The Sorrows of Young Barbara, first sexualized by Franz, then rebuffed by Batman, and finally brutalized by the Joker. Full Review

Rating: 2/5 -- It really felt like 2 episodes of the animated series crammed together with nothing particularly cinematic to set the animation apart. Full Review

Product Description:

The seminal graphic novel written by Alan Moore (WATCHMEN) that ushered in a new, darker spin on The Dark Knight is adapted for the screen in this animated feature. The Joker (voiced by Mark Hamill) launches his most diabolical assault ever upon Commissioner Gordon (Ray Wise) and his family, including his daughter Barbara Gordon (Tara Strong). It's up to Batman (Kevin Conroy) to stop this madman in his tracks - but in doing so, he'll realize how he and his arch nemesis are very much the same. Extras include featurettes, bonus cartoons, sneak peeks and more.
