The best part of The Dresser is watching Hopkins and McKellen, two actors at the peak of their considerable powers, playing off each other. Full Review

Seeing these actors together is wonderful. If there is an edge, it goes to Mr. McKellen, whose scurrying, effeminate Norman is a study in subordination and repressed emotion. Full Review
