Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 4/5 --
With Paul Newman no longer with us, no other actor could have fitted so snugly into the legendary outlaw's old boots.

[A] low-key, elegiac, fitfully intriguing revisionist western...

Rating: 3/5 --
It feels as unique as the way the ageing Shepard's eyes appear weirdly independent of the rest of him. He's a bird of prey gazing through the holes in a crumbling wall.

Shepard gives an extremely moving performance as Cassidy/Blackthorn, expertly balancing the traditional romanticism of life in the Old West... with a believable portrayal of an old man yearning to return home.

4 stars out of 5 -- [T]he real draw is the performances. Noriega shines as the surrogate Sundance, while the grizzled Shepard, with a Newman-like twinkle, is at his irascible best.

Product Description:
Longtime screenwriter Mateo Gil (OPEN YOUR EYES, THE SEA INSIDE) returns to the director's chair for his second feature, a continuation of the Butch Cassidy saga that finds the famed outlaw embarking on one last adventure in the quest to meet his son for the very first time. Twenty years after he presumably perished in a violent gun fight, Butch (Sam Shepard) learns that he has a son in the U.S. Returning home to meet his boy won't be easy, though, because a quick-draw cowboy (Eduardo Noriega) is about to take Butch on the ride of his life. Meanwhile, an obsessive ex-railroad employee (Stephen Rea) is closing in on Butch, and preparing to pull the trigger.
