Slow Death I'll Be Right Here/Factory [Single]

Minneapolis's ''The Slow Death'' have a classic punk sound informed by everything from Oi to country.

''The Slow Death'' has been described as Lemmy meets The Lemonheads. Or Negative Approach meets Stiff Little Fingers. While these comparisons are accurate, there is an underlying uniqueness to ''The Slow Death'' that can't be described by a comparison to another band. Their influences range from Oi to Country and all can be heard on this single. The two songs on this 7'' were cut from the bands last LP ''Punishers'', released earlier this year on Rad Girlfriend. The songs are some of their best, which is why it is a pleasure to see them released on wax. There is a somber melancholy beneath the catchy guitars, monster drums and gravelly vocals that grab you right by the heart as well as your ears. This is true DIY punk done on one man's own terms with booze on the breath and a true outlaw attitude in spirit.
