Amazing Race - Season 17 (3-Disc)

Eleven teams depart from Gloucester, Massachusetts on a trip around the world, spanning over 32,000 miles, 4 continents, and 30 cities. Traveling north of the Arctic Circle for the first time, this 17th installment of THE AMAZING RACE also includes first-time visits to Bangladesh and Ghana. Teams facing this course include a birth mother and daughter who've only just been reunited. So many obstacles along the way -- one racer accidentally launches a watermelon into her own face, while a vegetarian racer must overcome a plate of meat to secure her team's spot on the race. Teams are also faced with two new twists, the Double U-Turn and the Express Pass. And, for the first time while racing, one racer makes a marriage proposal to another. From whitewater rafting to a 500-foot rappel, all teams confront their personal doubts and push on for the victory celebration.
