Jerry Vivino Back East

Jerry Vivino has been featured for the past 2 decades, as part of the house band with Late Night T.V. talk show host Conan O'Brien. Jerry's resume reads like a Who's Who in the music biz. Having performed or recorded with the likes of Stanley Clark, Donald Fagen, Phoebe Snow, Lyle Lovett, Tony Bennett, Darlene Love, Keely Smith, Lew Soloff, Will Lee, Paul Shaffer, brother's Jimmy and Uncle Floyd Vivino, daughter and broadway performer Donna Vivino, The Fab Faux, Frankie Valli and Bruce Springsteen to name a few. This CD on the BLU-JAZZ label features Jerry not only on his tenor sax of which he is highly regarded and recognized for, but also features some outstanding flute and alto flute playing. Not to mention a wonderful vocal on the CD's last track. Rounding out Jerry's quartet is Hammond B-3 virtuoso Brian Charette, veteran jazz guitarist Bob DeVos ( Charles Earland, Jimmy McGriff and Hank Crawford ) and world class N.Y./L.A. drummer Andy Sanesi.
