Product Description:

In his feature film directorial debut, documentarist Jeremy Elkin tries to capture the essence of the identified golden age of street-emerged subculture aspects: hip hop and skateboarding. Using analog video archival footage shot during the late ‘80s to early ‘90s interspersed with contemporary interviews with key figures of the era, the film creates a portrait of New York's vibrant lower Manhattan where many important brands, personalities, music, and lifestyle aspects contributed to the emerging urban culture that still resonates today. Zoo York brand founder Eli Gesner narrates the film.
