Description by OLDIES.com:
San Francisco is the backdrop for the story of Frank Johnson, an eyewitness to a gangland murder. As he flees to avoid trouble, his wife, who thinks he's trying to escape their marriage, pursues him. But she's not the only one after him. There are cops, reporters, and even the murderer. This hard-boiled drama from director Norman Foster (Kiss the Blood Off My Hands) features Ann Sheridan as Frank's wife, and cinematography by two-time Oscar winner Hal Mohr (The Wild One).
