Description by OLDIES.com:
To prove he's worthy of his editor's daughter (Yvonne Craig), milquetoast journalist Oliver Cannon (Robert Morse) agrees to head to the Antarctic and report from an underground naval base. Realizing a scoop will cut short his stay, Oliver decides to create his own news with the aid of photographer friend Pete Santelli (George Maharis). Intending to fly in a bevy of beauties to convince a Russian scientist (Michael Constantine) to defect, Oliver must dream up a way to outwit the Navy if he's to import the women, export the story and return home to marry his girl.
