Description by OLDIES.com:

This collection of interviews, all personally conducted by the author, focuses on the children of Hollywood legends. Each child (and in one case, grandchild) talks about the joys and difficulties of growing up in the shadow of the Hollywood spotlight. While some were significantly influenced by their famous parents and chose a career in entertainment, others felt no attraction toward the glamour of Tinseltown fame. Among the interviewees are the offspring of such major stars as Errol Flynn, Gary Cooper, Ingrid Bergman, Jimmy Stewart and Rosalind Russell, as well as such prominent supporting players as Jack Elam, Gene Lockhart, Billy Barty and Jesse White. Included is a list of books and/or websites published by the children of the actors featured.

Oldies but goodies Customer: from Boston -- November, 7, 2011

This is a great collection of interviews featuring a diverse range of actors. Each chapter focuses on one actor, with a witty introduction followed by the interview. Lots of fascinating information (who knew Jimmy Stewart's daughter lived with gorillas!) especially about the supporting actors included we know much less about than the big stars.

Great book for classic movie fans Customer: from Boston -- November, 7, 2011

This book is packed with interesting stories about some of the greatest leading and supporting actors from the early hollywood years. Each chapter focuses on a particular actor whose son or daughter is interviewed. You can start anywhere in the book and move to other chapters as you want. Each chapter has an introduction, and the interviews follow. I liked the humor in some of the chapter intros, too!
