Do you remember growing up watching cartoons on TV featuring an attractive, sexy Olive, a handsome, hunky, suave, and sly Bluto, and a Popeye who often seemed as though he couldn't do much withouth first eating spinach? These are the cartoons made by Famous Studios, and they are the longest running syndicated cartoons in TV history. But they were originally produced for adult movie-going audiences and contained elements like romance and double-entendres which sailed over the children's heads, but which make the films sill enjoyable to adult viewers today. And viewers of all ages can appreciate the humor, the suspense, the tension, and even the scary thrills that are present in many of the cartoons.
