Description by OLDIES.com:

Hitler's self-belief and outward confidence was legendary and not without cause. His blitzkriegs were very much built on components that were the Fuhrer's own brand of advanced modern warfare. Even in 1944, with the Allies poised to take the Fatherland, he still believed he alone could win the war. Military planning remained his sole responsibility and those on the General staff were merely his 'messenger boys'. Gotterdammerung traces the Fuhrer's always stormy relationship with the German High Command, his commanders, political colleagues and even his own troops during their last battles.

Product Description:

Most of Nazi Germany’s military victories during the first half of World War II were the direct result of Adolf Hitler’s ambitious theories on modern warfare. In fact, Hitler’s aggressive strategies were often in conflict with those of his top military planners, who advocated a more cautious approach. This documentary examines the rifts that occurred within the Wehrmacht and their role in hastening the demise of Nazi Germany.
