A war correspondent returning to America on an ocean liner meets and Irish girl who is sailing to meet her fiancé in America. On the voyage a lecherous older man attempts to molest her and is injured when she pushes him away. He brings charges against her and she is detained at Ellis Island, but it is finally cleared when the correspondent comes to her defense.
