[I]t's absorbing, well-crafted and appropriately tense, with a smart cast that raises it a notch above average.

There's nothing wrong with the narrative as such; watching some monster murder a bunch of people is pretty much what you turn on a horror movie to see. The problem is that in this case neither the monster nor the victims are remotely interesting. Full Review

[A] tense, efficient medical thriller....[Gelb] keeps the mayhem moving briskly as an effective host of obstacles pile up in the script by Luke Dawson and Jeremy Slater.

It's thematically thin but competently made and good for a few scares. Full Review

Rating: 4.5/10 -- The characters in this forgettable piece of horror schlock can "bring back" all the dead dogs and dead people they want; just please, please don't bring me back. I don't want to go back. Full Review

Rating: C- -- I would have loved to see more from the filmmakers, daring to fail while staking out some new terror incognita instead of just going through the motions of an experiment for which we already have the results. Full Review

Given the low-budget film's bottle-episode feel, horror fans could've gotten extra mileage out of a disorienting and original psychological treatment. Full Review
