Joe Strummer had the goods, and the perfect band to back him up. See the proof, and ignore the film's spackled on political subtext.

[Hazan and Mingay] should have either shot a few musical performances and made it a straight concert film or told the story of yet another Angry Young Man. They obviously couldn't do both.

Product Description:
In 1978, Ray Gange quit his job in order to tour with the Clash, his favorite band and a group that was then changing the face of the British music scene. Thus was born this rockumentary, which combines fascinating footage documenting the cultural landscape of the time, as well as rare concert footage that captures the energy and excitement of a Clash performance.
