Description by OLDIES.com:
GENGHIS KHAN, after being raised by the evil leader Jamuga, escapes and forms his own tribe in the mountains. He returns to steal away and marry Jamuga's girl, and then goes to China. It is there that he gains the respect of the leader of the Chinese by fending off the warriors of Jamuga.
Product Description:
Documentary filmmaker Robert H. Lieberman takes an exploratory, sweeping look at the remnants of the notorious Genghis Khan's empire in the contemporary world. Beginning in the ancient conqueror's land of Mongolia, the cradle of the Khan's ambition, the narrative explores a culture deeply entrenched in tradition while nurturing an eye toward progress and the future. As modernity catches up with their former highly nomadic culture, Mongolians give their insights as they share their challenges and successes.

A good adventure movie. Comes across very well in the widescreen format. I remember this movie from the time it ran at the local theater. The only disappoint with this epic is the lack of many epic battle scenes. The movie can be considered more of a dramatic, half accurate film. Still this is a great movie to add to one's collection.
