Nashville Rebel

An archetypical tale of a young talent trying to rise up in the cutthroat world of country music features a veritable Who's Who of Grand Ole Opry stars. Waylon Jenning, whose cowboy charm shines through in his first feature film performance, stars as Arlin Grove, a rebellious young musician who rises quickly to fame, only to be betrayed by the very people who made him. Shot on location in Nashville, country music peppers the soundtrack, and live performances from superstars including Tex Ritter, Henny Youngman, Loretta Lynn, and of course, Jennings himself, are staged at the world famous Grand Ole Opry.
