The Cadillacs first got together when its members were students at P.S. 139 in Harlem . As the Cadillacs, they were great R&B favorites in the middle and late 1950s, and are today remembered as the first R&B group to extensively use choreography in their stage routines. This 3-CD set includes their two biggest Pop hits, "Speedo" and "Peek-A-Boo" plus all of their best remembered tunes.

THEY OFTEN CALL HIM SPEEDO BUT HIS REAL NAME IS MR.EARL! EARL(SPEEDO)CARROLL WAS A FRIEND OF MINE! HE HAS BEEN DECEASED FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS NOW AND BOY DO I MISS HIM DEARLY! THIS WONDERFUL DVD SET OF THE CADILLACS RANGES FROM 1954-1962! THIS GROUP INFLUENCED THE TEMPTATIONS IN A BIG WAY BECAUSE THEY COULD SING AS WELL AS DANCE AND VICE VERSA! THE GROUP HAD A LOT OF HITS BUT MY PERSONAL FAVORITES ARE "TELL ME TODAY" AND "ITS LOVE"! FINALLY, HEAVEN RECIEVED THE GREATEST ANGEL WITH THE BIGGEST SMILE-HIS NAME EARL(SPEEDO)CARROLL!
